Residential camp for children and adults with special needs located in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest in Southern California. Age range is nine to seventy and disabilities range from mild to severe, physical and/or developmental. Campers enjoy traditional camp activities such as: swimming, horseback riding, nature activities, arts & crafts, fine arts and adaptive sports. Applicants must have current Calif. RN/LVN license and an interest in working with young people in a high-energy environment. Duties include: some staff training, general health management of campers and staff; medication distribution; charting; some procedures such as cauterization, g-tube feeding, trache care, etc. Accommodations include own room with shared bathroom located in the Health Care Center. Position starts May 28 and ends August 20. Room & board plus $200-$300/day salary.
