Key elements of the RN Supervisor position include collaborating with the Nurse Manager and practice leadership to develop and implement the nursing department’s mission, goals, policies, procedures, quality assurance plan, and clinical standards.
The Nursing Supervisor will oversee quality assurance programs and overall clinical practice workflow. Job responsibilities include providing direct supervision and support, and serving as a key resource for all clinical staff. Serving in an essential role, the RN supervisor will work with HR and Clinical manager to optimize staffing levels, recruit, select, and orient/train new team members, and evaluate nursing staff.
Requirements for the RN Supervisor Position: Education:
BSN from accredited school of nursing. Unrestricted WA RN License
Minimum five years of professional nursing experience including two years supervisory-level experience, or comparable experience in fertility nursing.
Women's Health Care background and skills strongly preferred.
Prior medical practice/clinic experience strongly preferred.
High degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision making. Proven leadership, mentoring, and employee development skills. Skill in developing and maintaining high level of quality patient care. Knowledge of clinical computer applications, appropriate documentation and quality assurance auditing processes.
