Provide classroom instruction for students, academic advising, assist in graduate placement, assist with assessment and accreditation requirements, attend graduation ceremonies, assist with student orientation/registration, revise curricula, develop new courses, design new programs, revise instructional materials, remain current in teaching field, work on college committees and promote institutional objectives.
A bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline, or associate's degree and demonstrated compentencies in the teaching discipline required.
A bachelor's degree in Health Administration or Health Information Management; a minimum of three years' work experience. Must be a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT); must have a Medical Coding credential AAPC - CPC or AHIMA - CCS. Prefer two years' teaching experience.
