Job Description: NFI North Intermission Program is seeking a Licensed Clinician for our transitional PNMI housing program located in Lewiston for young adults ages 18-25 who are in need of mental health services. This program is designed to provide residential housing as well as the support necessary to insure successful independent living for young adults who are participants of mental health services. While in the program, clients are provided with medication support, vocational support around school or work, case management services to access other needed services and clinical support. Intermission is staffed 24/7 and support is provided to clients around meal preparation, daily living skills and other individualized, client-driven goals. This position has a caseload of 7 clients and allows time to be part of the daily routine at Intermission. This position will conduct intakes/assessments, update 90 day treatment plans, provide weekly individual counseling, support/co-facilitate groups, provide clinical guidance and training to direct care staff, collaborate with outside providers/family members and ensure quality and compliance with funding source regulations. Typical day may also include engaging in new hobbies with clients, volunteering with clients in the community, going on outings with clients, helping clients practice new skills and preparing/eating meals with clients. Master's degree in Social Work or Human Services and a minimum of 3 years related experience working with individuals with mental illness. At least 2 years of providing clincial experience. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) preferrd. Experience in psychiatric rehabilitation a plus. This position has rotating on-call responsibilities that typically involve being on call 1 week out of every two months. This position has CEU provision, clinical supervision and other training.
